Chuck, Chris, and Sam are fully certified by nationally recognized professional organizations to perform jewelry design and repair services. These include the Gemological Institute of America, Jewelers Vigilance Committee, the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, the American Numismatic Association, and Professional Coin Grading Service.

The store sparkles, of course. In addition to glass display cases of gorgeous merchandise in gold, silver, diamonds and semi-precious stones, Coast to Coast Jewelry and Coins also offers appraisal services.

Behind glass, in view of the customer, are two repair stations, where repairs and jewelry customization are done on the premises. Repair stations are literally transparent; you can watch the jeweler handle your piece every second. Some repairs can even be made while you wait or are shopping nearby. Or you can schedule an appointment. The staff can handle simple repairs to complex design work. Ring sizing is popular, as well as mounting and remounting stones in new settings.

In the watch repair section, a full-time service in itself, the store makes repairs on all makes and models of watches–quartz, manual, and automatic wind instruments. Battery replacement and band repair can be done in minutes.

Chuck is experienced in all areas of the business, and is primarily responsible for the store’s coin operation. He buys, sells and trades all U.S. coins, currency, commemorative coins, and he specializes in “Morgan silver dollars.” The store displays perfectly preserved examples of “Confederate states” currency, silver certificates and all numismatic coins (PCGS, NGC and ANACS).

The business is also available to assist with inheritance pieces–coins and jewelry that may need proper evaluation and appraisal for estate or insurance purposes. “We can help your family decide how to handle these select items. You need a professional opinion on family heirlooms,” Chris advises.
